Living Stream Premier Candi*Clear contains both Cellulase and Alpha Galactosidase enzymes to digest yeast. Scientific studies have discovered that the cell wall of Candida is comprised mostly of cellulose. Cellulase is the enzyme that will break down this fiber. It is the only digestive enzyme that our body does not make. Cellulase enzymes should be taken on an empty stomach, so that some will be absorbed in the blood stream, while others will pass through the intestinal tract to be digested. Cellulase enzymes can make the difference as a safe natural approach by breaking down the yeast, so that it will die. Candida Albicans is a naturally occurring yeast organism (fungus) that co-exsists in a balanced state of the healthy body. When the balance is disrupted, the Candida can grow out of control and cause infection. Normally it is not harmful, because it is kept under control by beneficial bacteria (probiotics). Certain causes of Candidiasis have been linked to overuse of antibiotics, birth control pills, anti-inflamatory drugs, leaky gut syndrome and the over consumption of refined sugars and carbohydrates.
